Tried the sea foam with no effect. Didn't think it would do much since I had the injectors cleaned. I'll start pricing a valve job.

We haven't had much snow here this year (riding the bike today), but I've found it's hard to get a skid going without trying. Using the parking brake and lots of throttle in a corner.

Was reading the Sea Foam site. Just pour a 1/2 pint down the PCV?

I've got a '99 legacy outback with the 2.5l engine that keeps getting a check engine light withthe code for a missfire on #4 cylinder. Have replaced timing belt, coil pack, plugs, wires, injector & fuel filter with no change. compression checked good. Mechanic suggested a worn lobe on the camshaft. Any other ideas before I sign up for new camshafts?

New guy as well. Found my 99 LOBW by running listings ont AutoTrader.com thru CarFax. Mine showed up on a report as a possible alternative. $5k, stick shift, 145k miles and heated everything. Had to relpace the am/fm/weather cassett and the front door speakers. Foam in the drivers seat and the struts need replacing. Found a CD shop manual on e-Bay for $12.

Friend of mine is swapping his '05 WRX suspension out with STi parts. Anybody know if his leftovers will fit my '99 LOBW?

Doooh It's on the frame at the rear of the door, ont on the door and the screw holding it was loose. Works now. I kept looking on the door itself. Thanks

I can't find a switch on the exterior of the door.

I just got a '99 OBW, traded in a 2004 Nissan pickup (needed a back seat more often than I need to haul stuff) and I noticed that the clutch is stiffer on th OBW than it was on the truck.

I got a '99 Outbacl Legacy wagon a week ago and the front passenger door switch is showing the door open on the dash display and it will illuninate the dome light. Just had the panel off to replace the speaker and hit all the connectors with contact cleaner, no change. If I pull the door shut with the release, I can get the lights to go out, but the door isn't completly latched. When I push it shut from the outside, the lights come back on.
