    Dan McGinn posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    I'm looking to get an older Impreza, but I only have a 5k purchase price budget. My question is, and I apologize if this has been gone over ad nauseum, what are the common problem areas with these cars? Also, is there any comprehensive buyers guides, either online or in print? Finally, what shop manual is the best for these cars? I use the Bentley manual for my BMWs, but it doesn't look like they make a Subaru one. I'll probably look for a 95 or so 2.2 so answers specific to that model are appreciated. Thanks! Dan McGinn
