  1. Yep- I bought a subaru because I used to babysit for a family and they drove a subaru- a little light yellow wagon- that car ran forever.
  2. Hello- I am looking for a really good subaru automechanic in the Boston, MA area. I could take it to the dealership-but on 2 occssions they have charged me $85.00 for a diagnostic computer hook up- only to explain they cannot tell me what the code means- a month after that the clutch went and needed to be repalced. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO if anyone knows of any ace subaru mechanics in MA please let me know. Thank you, ~Johanna
  3. Hey- I just joined up too- welcome to the newcombers club- we'll be sending you flowers and a subaru ID card that you can show off to your friends! ~Johanna
  4. Hello- I bought a used 2000 Impreza Outback Sport from a dealership in 2003- unfortunately the car has been one check engine light nightmare after another- the light is now going on because of the idle speed motor- has anyone ever heard of this problem and do you know how much it would cost to fix it. Also- I live in Boston, MA and am looking for a really good mechanic in the area that would save me from having to take the car to the dealership- they charged me $85. for a diagnostic- only to tell me "they don't know what the code means". So they cleared it and when it came on again a month later I had to have the clutch replaced. Any advice is welcomed!
