    I have a 97 Subaru Legacy--4 dr. sedan, no sun-roof. Recently it has developed a rain leak which deposits water on the floor in front of the passenger seat fully soaking the carpet. So far no luck figuring out how the water is getting in. Running water from a hose around the door and windshield hasn't given me any clues and I can't figure out how to think like a rainstorm yet! Since the water seems to simply "appear out of nowhere" on the floor I could use some tips on how to start a methodical search for the source. It's a nice little car and I hate to see it turn into a mold ranch. Thank you.
