  1. Turbo 2.2 into Outback

    Hi all; There seems to be a lot of info on replacing a 2.5 with a 2.2 but was wondering if anyone has tried or knows whether a 2.2 turbo with auto trans could be dropped into an Outback. The motor on the wife's Outback (240k kms) started making an awful racket the other day and my 93 Turbo (130k) has been sitting idle for too long. Was thinking of selling it but think a swap might be fun. Robin
