  1. Rearview mirror dimming trouble

    Hi there, I have an '02 Forester that I adore. In the last month, the rearview mirror has a strange thing going on. A small oval section at the top of the mirror is clear and easy-to-see out of. The rest of the mirror is dark and has a a double-vision thing happening. It's like the dimmer has just gone wrong. I don't know if it is temperature related, but the shape and size of the good/bad viewing areas changes. Sadly, the good area is much smaller than the bad. Thanks for any help, Chris
