Just bought EBC Green Stuff pads for the front and rear was around 100 for all the pads. Will let you know if I like them, or if I have rotors left after I use them. I also looked at the Hawk pads but they didnt make any for the sudaru that I have.

the oe ones from my dealer are almost 100$, seams high to me. I figure that i could get some good aftermarket ones for 60-70 and I would be happy. Just wondering if I should go with ceramic pads, or stay with semi-metalic. Plus it looks like I have a 1996 legacy and there are two different brake pad styles for that year.

I am looking 4 good braking w/ out eating my rotors.

I had the same problem it was the spark plug wires. Even though there was no apperent damage to them.

This is the first time I will be doing a brake pad chage on my 1996 Subaru legacy lsi. Does anyone know what the best pads to put on it?? And what the best place to buy them online.

I like to get the oem filters, they might be a few more dollars but worth it.

Do you guys know the best place online to buy Subaru parts? I’m going to do a tune up and need a few things. Such as spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, ext.

Yes I will flush the system. Is that someting that I can do myself of should I take it in??? Oh ya and what kind of fluid do you recomend?

No its gots disks. Was thinking maby power is being sent to the rear casuising it to try to move forward.

Ya i was thinking that It could be the torque converter. This is the first automatic that I have owned so not sure what to expect. It does it when it is warm, it usaly does it in Drive but I have to be stoped. I put it in Park to see what happens and it does the same thing. Dosn't do it right away it takes about a minute to happen. Usally only happens once but sometimes twice. As for the rps, they dont seam to change. But it is hard to tell beacause I dont know when my car will lurch.

Yes there is enough fluid. Got the car 10,000 miles ago. Dont know the how old the fluid is. My problem started just started two weeks ago.

usaly it takes about a minute, somes times more somtimes less. It happens when Im in drive too, but only if I am stopped.

My 1996 legacy lsi automatic, has a problem. When I am stopped waiting at a light I will feel a tud for a second (kind like someone rear ended me) it does this after I have been stoped for a minute or so. It is strange, the idle seams fine and it doesn’t make a noise. It does it when the car is in drive or park. Does anyone have any idea what this could be???
