  1. How to read ECU codes on 91 Loyale

    Hello! So nice to find this forum, hope you can help us -- Have a 1991 Loyale that we started last week at -20 degrees (Wyoming winter), drove the car (gently) for about a mile and then the idle suddenly dropped and the "check engine" light came on. Car was drivable, all gauges showed good levels, but when coming to a stop had to keep my foot on the gas and brake with my left foot or the car would die (manual trans.). My husband is familiar with checking the ecu codes on our older Loyale (1989 -- under the steering wheel), but can't find where to check the codes on the '91 wagon. (Have the charts for the codes, just need to know where to read them on this car!) Hope you can help us! Tia, Laura
