  1. Help for a 99 Outback hatch door rattle

    Thanks for the tips. We road in the back and it sounded like the hatch. I stuffed a couple of rags near the latch and the rattle was gone at idle (harmonic) and on slow rough roads. Any suggestions on tightening the hatch, is it the latch or the hinges?

    We have a 99 Outback wagon and it has a rattle in the back door or rough paved roads and when idling it has a harmonic rattle. How do I fix it, as the Reno dealer had no clue? It drives me crazy!
