  1. I can get the rebuild kit from rock for less than $20.
  2. Find new water pump, get just the gasket, or get the rebuild kit (gasket, seals, impeller)? Where can I get a FSM for the 1993 Justy (it's a Gen 2, right?)
  3. rockauto.com didn't have a water pump, should I just get the gasket or go ahead and get the rebuild kit? Also, is there a FSM avaliable for the Justy?
  4. Where's a good place on the intraweb to get a justy waterpump.
  5. Yea, I know it is bad, but I was wondering if the little 3 cylinder can take some abuse (however many miles w/o coolant to the mechanic's shop), or if I can expect a total rebuild of the Justy. I think it might be the O-ring since it appears to be leaking around where the pump meets the block. Is there a rebuild kit for the water pump? Where should I get the o-ring (no local Subaru dealer, would have to order off the internet)?
  6. Got me a radiator (new to me), local junkyard found it for me from a few counties over, $55 more down the drain. Got it fired up (starts like a champ, ran like a top) to find that the water pump leaks. Haven't gone to tear into it yet, but is there a gasket there that might be shot? Reckon something is gone amuck and I'm gonna be throwin more money down the drain? I don't know how long the car was run without/low on coolant, what is the likelyhood of the head being cracked?
  7. Was the $109 shipped? If not, then not worth it IMO, but thanks. About the cooling lines, do these things already have small coolers in the lines? If so, then just bypass them and run it through the oil cooler on the radiator (what I did on my LandCruiser). I'm still hoping someone knows if any Honda or Toyota or US Domestic radiators will fit since I can junkyard those for about $15 bucks.
  8. The radiator leaks, I haven't had time to check where, but it leaks. The water pump needs rebuilding too. The mechanic I bought it from hadn't looked at it really, but he said it probably needs a new radiator, so I figured I'd look. I also don't know if there is anyone who does radiator work in my little town. I'll check to see if I can't find someone who does radiator work and I'll look at that website. Thanks for the help guys!
  9. Eh, gives me a start. I'm looking for something that will drop in with at worst a few new mounts. So essentially whatever plumbs up and works with the water pump/engine and will fit in the stock location.
  10. Nobody? Anyone know where to find one for under a hundred bucks?
  11. Just got a pretty haggard '93 Justy for $200, it needs the water pump rebuilt and a new radiator. The problem I am having is finding a radiator locally (used/junkyard) for the Justy. Do any other radiators fit with little fab work (Honda/Acura/Ford, etc.)?
