this may be way off, but pull the dist. cap and make sure the screw did not fall out of the rotor. this has happened to me. kinda felt like the fuel was running out.

this situation happened to me last halloween and yours sounds just like it. got it towed and i fixed it in 20 minutes. stupid little screw

out of curiousity. when you got behind your cluster was there a plastic film that made the color green(whatever it was) that could possibly be replaced to a different color. i was curios about that possiability because ive seen it done on VW's. sorry to hear about your bad times. good luck!

keep with white with dark tint. beautiful and clean looking. maybe get your wheels black that would look awesome. but dont trash that beautiful car -

SY....if your rig is an ea82 your a/c should have two(2) options on the a/c button.
1 light push turns on the a/c...push it again and it should go into max a/c which is RECIRCULATED AIR ( not recycled)
i didnt even know you could push it lightly. im used to hittin that thing in a hurry to get some cold air. good to know for the future though!
is there a way to circulate air with heat in the ea82? -
got my spfi to 85 on flat:burnout: , didnt dare push it past that. if i wanted a fast car i would have gotten a newer soob

if the problem hasnt esclated yet. could i possiably get anyway with some sealant for my hg? because i do not have the time, money, rescources to change my hg

ok so today i read everyones posts. i realized the thermostat gasket was leaking (damn gi joes). i replaced that, and in addition i took out the radiator and flushed it with a garden hose and it wasnt plugged up at all. i checked for fin rot and there was none. that radiatior seems in good condition. it is still doing the same thing. i double checked the weep hole and water pump all is fine. is there a slight chance the headgasket might be going? i have not been burning off coolant on starts or normal operation. who knows maybe my radiator is bad.

i just got a new cap for it but it didnt do the trick, what about the overflow cap? does that make as much as a difference as well? i have been missing that for a while because im a doorknob and left it off and closed the hood and took off in a hurry, who knows where it is now

i dont think the bubbling coming from the passenger side has anything to do with your loss. mine does it and so do others that ive actually payed attention to. maybe your head gasketS?
