  1. Where is the fuelpump on my '86 Brat? If anyone has replaced one what make worked out best. Engine starts and dies. If you hold the accelerator at 3000 rpm steady it slows down and dies, wont stay running. Has new fuel filter. Thanks for any help.

  5. Have replace the right side front half axle twice in 3000 miles on my 86 Brat. Noticed in replacing it the last time that the splines from trans to half axle werre a little loose. Is it possible that this looseness contributes to the early break down of the u joint in the half axle and if so what can be done. Any Ideas? Adrian
  6. I have replaced the right side half axle on my 86 Brat twice in 3000 miles. Am thinking that the splines on the out put of my trans are worn and are cause of a loose fit to new half shaft, then with use and wiggeling may prematurely wear splines on half shat and result in breakdown of u joint. Any ideal out there? Adrian
  7. Hi out there. I have an '86 Brat and valves are a little noisy. One service manual I have says this model has hydrolic lifters (no adj.) another manual says the '86 Brat has solid lifters and needs adjusting. Anyone have correct info on this? mtn.man
