  1. Hi Daeron I seem to have your cars twin sister out here in Reno. 87 GL-10 SPFI 1.8 with air. This subee has been great till about 6 months ago all kinds of mysterious behavior. Has befallen this creature of 250.000 miles I have read through most of your posts, and you have hit on alot of the problems that I now face. I have finished your post on changing the relays and it makes perfect sense. I am however puzzled about the rewire on the fuel pump relay and your set against it. If you could elaborate on this issue or offer an alternate solution I would be grateful. I do not think I will be able to find the six pin relay that subaru has installed. I have seen the picture of this device and I am guessing that it is not just a relay but a solid state device that also meters fuel flow and feeds back to the ECU taking its ques from the throttle position sensor and crank angle sensor ( I am guessing ) to effect an efficient fuel delivery solution.
