  1. Thanks to everyone that helped me with this, I have finally got the weber running quite well I have ordered a few more jets but I end up with this with what I had around:- Primary main-132 Secondary main-140 Primary air correction-170 Scondary air correction-165 Primary Idle-55 Secondary Idle-50 NOTE:- This carby has no choke or choke plates they were removed a while ago (for a gain of about 3cfm) Seems to run very well even when cold, its a prick to start but once running, it will Idle slowly after a few minutes of reving at 1500rpm. I set the timing at standard 6deg (1990 Brumby ute). anti back fire valve and reed valve are disconnected. The carby changes the sound completely, The enginge revs quicker and smoother, Still a few flatspots though mainly at quater throttle and i thnk it could use a larger secondary main for the top end isnt much different to the old carby. When jets arrive will play and post results.
  2. Hi All, Has anyone come across aftermarket headlight assemblys for the brumby that accept the H4 globes, I'm In Australia and cant seem to find any that are same enough. Thought it would be cool to have dual headlights for low and highbeam.
  3. Thanks heaps mate I'll try setting it up the same and see how it runs,on more question do you run the standard 6 deg timing? Thanks HEAPS!!!
  4. Hi All, New here to the Forum and seeking some help in tuning a weber 32/36 dgav for my '90 model subaru brumby and it has the EA81 engine, I've just put the carby on, I'm assuming it came off a escort or cortina have several all being the same exept for the size of the main jets and air bleed jets. Anyway its seems better at certain throttle positions and idles ok but now the car seems to desiel on when turning it off it has a flat spot between idle and 1/4-1/2 throttle. the carby has 127 primary main jet 130 secondary main jet. 175 primary air correction jet. 135 secondary air correction jet. venturi thingy 4.5 primary venturi thingy 3.5 secondary ide jet primary 55 ide jet secondary 50 the carby also has the anti stall attached not sure if it is suppose to be removed or not. its a diafram located opposite the acelerator pump. Any help would be great anyone out there that may have already done the carby swap, jets sizes emulsion tube sizes. Any information on how the polution gear is set up properly with this carby. should I still use the anti backfire valve and the reed valve. Sorry this got so long Any help is appriciated Thanks Gumby
