  1. ok so this is my car 93 subaru legacy wagon 2.2L I brought the battle wagon into Midas today to check out whats wrong with my exhaust, 10 minutes later they bring back the keys and tell me the cat converter is cracked down the middle and needs to be replaced he says they dont have the subaru part for it so i would need to bring it down to the subaru dealership to get it done. He also told me to expect it to cost alot of money since its the part or type of cat converter that splits in two. my question is, is it easy to replace something like this your self with a friend? or does this require alot to be done? also if i get this done does anyone have an idea of the cost? also im not sure exactly what part i need, any have an idea?
