  1. I have an unusual problem with a transmission leak on my 2001 outback. It will leak transmission fluid without any ryme or reason. I've been under looking at it and there is a small amount around the backside of the pan but it hasn't made a trail down the underneath or leaked on the exhaust. I will walk out and find a small puddle on one day and a week or so will pass without any at all. I can started it today, change parking spots and left a good size trail the whole way. It may be leaking around a sensor on the top, drivers side of the pan. Any suggestions?
  2. Has anyone found a way to tighten the bolts on the back side of the oil pan. I have a fairly good leak from the backside and they are impossible to reach. Any suggestions. I have a 2001 outback and a 1996 svx.
