  1. 87 GL wagon won't start after 4 mos

    Hi - My mother in law has an 87 GL wagon that has been parked in her driveway for 4-5 months. The battery was low, so I brought over a portable battery/charger. The motor turns over fine, but won't start. I removed the air intake from the carburator and poured in a little gas - the engine fires right up but only until the poured gas is used up. It seems no new gas is arriving from her 3/4 full tank. I took the gas hose off after the filter while turning the engine, but did not find any fuel pressure (just the fuel that gravity drained out of the filter...). Any ideas? Thanks, Matt
