  1. Did a Weber conversion on it. Blocked off the EGR, took out all the evap/vacuum line crap, took off those stinking exhaust riser things, and re fabbed my exhaust to clear the cross member again. All that's left on the engine is vacuum for the brake booster, the distributor advance, and one for the heater controls. Also re-did the pcv system, but be careful on this one, because if you screw it up, you screw you engine up.

     

    Then set my timing and tuned the carb in, re-checked timing. Drove a couple hundred miles for break in, and then re-checked my timing and re-tweak the carb a wee bit.

  2. I couldn't tell you, I sold the car in July of 2010 to another forum member, RSTI I think was his handle. But it worked great when I had it.

  5. hey I have a complete systemout of an 84 BRAT. Evaporator and hoses, reciver/dryer and hoses, and the compresser and belt idler pully. I would be willing to sell it to you for a fair price.

  8. No man I haven't driven the BRAT in about a month. Its not licensed or anything and I need to do some engine work before I drive it. So is going to be a while. Its more of a father son project for my youngest and I. It will be a while before its "really on the road" But I hope to haveit up and going well enough for the "BRAT" meet in spring...just going to trip permit it for the drive over.
