I checked the fault codes and found a code 35, purge control solenoid valve is continuously in on or off position. Where is the purge control solenoid valve? Is this owner replaceable or fixable? Could it just be stuck? Would a good cleaning possibly fix it? My Chiltons manual doesn't mention it that I can find. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

I have a '92 Loyale, 1.8L SPFI, error code 35 showing when I read the LED, Canister purge solenoid valve, switch continuously on or off position. Can anyone help me solve this problem? I'm not even sure what or where this is. I also have been hearing some pinging and at first it showed error codes in memory 11,13,14. Codes have cleared now but I expect they will return after I drive it again. Any ideas on what I need to fix or replace. This is my first day on this board so please be patient with my questions.
