...I don't know if all Subarus are the same. I just gave out some wrong info for a different engine type so I'll just keep my fat mouth shut regarding other engines

    lol

Guess I should say its out of a ea81

  2. What is the rotation of a subaru dist? CCW or CW?

Im asking cus i am converting my sons sand rail to

a chevy tbi setup. ( I hate ajusting the filpping carbs!)

Need to know if the grove in the dist shaft will pull the

oil up or down when installed in the vw engine.

Oh and sube dis is almost a perfect fit in the vw, just

have to change the drive gear!

  3. Hi Sweet82

Eney luck finding info for getting it legal yet?

    Found this tonight. http://dmv.utah.gov/rebuiltspeciallyconstructed.html

It sounds like you only need a waver for the emissions.

Found another wagon buried in the snow in a driveway

when I went over to my moms today. Going to go back

tomorrow and check it out. Did you see the 87 brat in the

thrifty adds the other day? Said it ran and wanted $400 for it.

  4. I forgot i had some info on reconstructed cars from the state.

I scaned it and put it on my home page. Look in pictures.:D

You will probably need DOT wind shield. whipers, seatbelts

and two mirrors. Install the sway bars for street driveing.

The Jeep guys put quick disconects on them so they can

unhook them for offroad. There are 3 pages to look at on

my home page, There not in order, the one on the bottom

    is page one.

It took about 2 hours for the girl at the dmv to find it for me,

make copys, and they were nice about it too. She gave me

a phone # to but i dont have it right now.

I think i can be done.

Have you ever been to hot rod meet? If you can get a scratch

built 23 T bucket regestered, I dont know why a home built

wheeler cant. I have plans for a bucket, even started on it but

    I would rather build a wheeler.:D

If i can ever get started on mine, I will try for street legal.

Where are you ? I'm in Magna.

I guess you havent got to drive the bandit yet?

Once around the block then hide it before the cops show up?

    :D

I was wondering how it handeles?

Did you use a wagon for the doner car?

Do you think it weighs less then the car did?
