    I don't know what captive means but I adapted adjustable coilover sleaves and the lip is from an old Volvo

    thanks, I just cant find any ea71 pistons but I have found ea83spfi pistons for $40 a piece with out ring I sould be able to order rings which might offset any lack of durablity.
