    The red drops that you are getting is your transmission fluid. You probably need to have the seal replaced. Mike

    I am concerned about a '96 Outback that I recently purchased. It has the 2.5 with Automatic Trans. It runs at 3,000 RPM at 75mph. Is that normal? It seems a bit high, but this is my first Subaru. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
