  1. YEP - You're right. A few years ago we owned a '91 Legacy FWD/5 speed, which our son drove. For some strange reason we ended up replacing the CV shafts, clutch and TRANSMISSION over a 6 month period. Oh, and the windshield, which he punched right after he blew a CV shaft. He paid for a lot of this, but mom and I really should've cut the right foot off his body. Aaaargh.
  2. Hi, silverlegacy95 here. I have an old beater 95 Legacy Wagon that the daughter drives and drives and drives and drives........ 178,000 miles and going strong (well, as strong as a NA 2.2L and A/T will go - lol). Got the usual oil leaks that grace the driveway, but that's OK. I also own a 91 Legacy Turbo Sports Sedan with 196,000 original miles on it. It has now died on me - ignition of some kind. I let my son drive it and he was going down the freeway and it just quit. It has compression, so it's not the timing belt; just no spark.....ANYWAY, I have decided to sell this car. I should probably post this elsewhere, but I'll ask for help here first ......... Got a couple of questions - what would the normal "expected" compression be for this car? All 4 cylinders measure from 78 - 83PSI. I'm thinking this is due to the lower compression pistons/heads due to it being a turbo, but I'm not positive. Next, I've considered selling this as-is on EBAY, but I'd like feedback from a few folks before I do this, just in case there are better places to list it. Just looking for general info. Please reply if you feel so inclined. Thanks!
