No one should forget the trusty intake manifold gasket either.

My wife would probably kill me if I got another "parts" car. She's still mad about me even buying the DL to begin with! She calls him "stinky". And my parts car is "stinky #2".

I think I'll stick with the 5 spd. I'm just having a problem with it slipping at the top of the gear. I think I'm going to leave it 2WD because of the work involved in swapping over. I just wanted to see just how simple it might be to swap the stuff over.

I've got an '89 DL FWD with a 5-speed and an '89 GL AWD Automatic. The GL I think I've decided is now a parts car. I'm curious how hard it would be to change the DL over to Automatic AWD? or at least Automatc? Any info would be helpful.

I just picked up a wrecked 89 GL with AWD and a 1.8L EA82 automatic. The problem is that I need to know what other years and model's body parts will fit it. It's got some rot in the body, but the engine runs so the $300 I paid for it should be worth it. Here are some pictures:
