  1. 2000 outback sedan swap

    i have a problem and was hoping maybe you can help me. yesterday while pulling into my parking lot at work i began hearing a loud noise from my engine as i pulled into my spot the engine died just as i put the car in park. i drained the oil after seeing that there was twice the needed amount and put in new oil. the car starts but you still hear a knocking and it dies soon after. what can i do about this, i was thinking about getting the engine rebuilt or getting a differant 2.5 engine put in, maybe wrx or sti but i have no clue about compatability.

    what can i swap into my outback its 2.5L non-turbo(can i put in a turbo) AWD 4Cyl. the car barely starts and you hear a knocking and then it dies.
