Uh, the heater works in all the fan speeds and positions, the rear defrost works as well . . . should I remove the instrument panel or is there a work around?

All the fuses look good and will check the dimmer control voltage next.

Hi, this is my first post. I recently got a '92 five speed 4WD loyale and have been giving it the work over. It's running like a dream and I love it, however the instrument cluster lights are not working. The stereo has been ripped out of the dashboard and the clock will come on and off, sometimes really bright, sometimes dim, sometimes not working at all. I would apprieciate any suggestions or help with these problems. The rear wiper isn't working either . . .
