  1. thanks for the pic i will try to locate the temp sensor i think that i will just replace the thing any way depending on the cost . i may have to get a lambda meter set up and check the air fuel ratio:banghead:
  2. The car is stock it runs a vf 10 turbo with a 3 inch exhaust running boost at 1 bar it does have a after market ( boxer series)air fuel ratio controller but this is not hooked up and has not been hooked up since it has been imported i am assuming that the temp sensor that i am after is under the left hand side of the inlet manifold. am i correct it looks to have one wire connection.
  3. I need some help with my subi its a 1993 legacy GT wagon auto my trouble began one morning out of the blue the car just started to stall constantly i retrived the codes and have now replaced the air flow meter and the crank angle sensor the car seemed to idle better than it ever has but once driven it seems to over fuel and fouls the plugs once the plugs are clean the car again idles fine and revs nice when still but same problem once driven then after rooting around i found the car wouldnt start at all and found the fuel pump had given up so at the same time i replaced the fuel filter and pump but still have the same problems i have been back the supplier of the air flow meter and they assure me the air flow meter is okay the car produces boost so i am assuming that the turbo is okay there are also no check engine lights that come on subaru Australia wont touch the car as its a private jap import any help would be great
  4. Thanks for the help man looks like i will have a project in the garage for a while i have chatted to a local auto electrician about the elec side of things and he assures me that its easily done also the reason i am fitting this new engine is that my auto has some bad noises going on and also suffers bad torque bind and the engine is down on compression in 2 cylinders. Thanks Daniel
