  1. hi, could the P0446 generate a missfire on all 4 cylinders ? as the weather got cold the car runs really bad and the missfire codes for all 4 cylinders came up beside the p0466 code. the whole summer and fall the car was running fine even the code was there but now since the temperatures are dropping below - C the car runs bad... thanks a lot.
  2. hi i've got on ebay a camber kit adjustment bolts , instaled them on my rear wheels as i've got a 18' set of rims but i'm unable to get a proper negative camber, positve i can really see the diference whwn turning the bolts, but negative doesn't seems to go to much over the standard position....any suggestions? is there anything related to the struts mounting?? thanks a lot1
  3. hi, i've got this error code but the car still drives well...do i really need to fix it right away? what's the influence on long term?? thanks!
  4. hi, i'm getting same issues but i can't locate the canister and solenoid...i just got the 2000 forester which is a little bit different as engine components locations than my 99 forester...any help will be more than appreciated, pictures or a diagram. thanks a lot!
  5. well.... in Eu you can get all cars models available on diesel or gas , depends on your purposes you can buy same car with a diesel engine or gas , no further i was reading a week ago that Jaguar is offering too a TD engine regarding pollution... as far as i know the cleanest engine still is a mercedes td engine... competitions and endurance...Audi is winning the 24h at Le Mans for a few good years usind TDi engines... i do understand as much as i can the 60's muscle cars but...we are almost 50 years later and technology has really gone beyond the point where you need a 5L V8 engine to generate 500HP ... the 2L STi engine from Subaru is just a small example...
  6. yeah..sure ..i'd like to see any of the new subarus turbo models doing same mileage as the the TD engine models )) don't know about US but here in Canada diesel is still cheaper than gas... in my opinion the car industry is still controlled by the big petroleum company owners...

  8. i came back from EU and i had the surprise the see on the road already Subaru cars with turbodiesel engines.... http://www.boxerdiesel.com/ will we get it here in the next 5 years ?!!??
  9. i guess you are right...could be the gear box on the 92 that make's run faster alt lower rpms... regarding the tire size am still on the factory specs 205/55/16... how interchangeable are the parts between old models and new ones?? can i do a full swap between the 92 and 97? i'll get the turbo engine like that on my 97 gt )
  10. i want it a little bit faster and also i don't like raving the engine doing 60-70km/h in the city... for 60km/h it goes up to 2500 rpm and for 70 almost ot 3000 rpm i have also a 92 legacy turbo , manual that has a a hi ratio diff. and it doest go more than 2000 rpm for 60 km/h on the 4 speed...
  11. thanks for the replays ..looks like i'll have to wait until i'll do a full swap... will be a 92 2.2 EJT compatible to swap in my 97 legacy ? i mean a full swap engine and transmission..?
  12. hello, i was thinking to replace my 97 gt's rear differential with a 4.4 ratio one do i need tot do any other modifications or just to do the replacement?? the car in manual transmission thank you!
  13. thanks..i'll have to look then for one that reads kms/h .... i'm aware about the Ontario legislation too..actually the one in found in US was matching my mileage + about 2500 miles more....
  14. hi, my cluster (km/h- i'm in Canada) got broken and the only ones that will match the mileage are in US and are in miles.... now, if i'll replace mine whit one that counts miles, does my car will count kms or miles , what will be stored on the odometer? thanks a lot!
  15. ok...i have interchange the sparkplugs wires between cyl 1 and 3 and it looks like the problem is gone... no more missfire and i can step on the gas again without any engine hesitation ... ps the ingnition coil has the cyl nr on it and also the wires should have checked before asking thanks a lot anyways !!
