  1. Thanks for all the help. You just saved me lots of time, I really really really appreciate it. It looks like its leaking at the rear of the transmission where the drive shaft enters the transmission. I thought I would have to remove the transmission either way. I really hope its the rear extension housing seal. I'm going to start working on it this weekend, just looking at what I would need for parts right now. I will take a close look at the ATF lines and rear housing seal. Thanks again.
  2. Transmission is leaking on my 95' AWD 2.2L Impreza. I'm going to drop the tranny (leaving engine) and replace all the seals. Do I need to use an engine support tool? The service manual I have uses a engine support for one of the steps. If so does anyone know where I can purchase one? Thanks
  3. Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. Looking for some help with an oil leak on my 95 Impreza. This is my gas saver, it runs perfect, drives perfect, but now leaks oil. Oil is dripping near the rear of the engine. If I start the car I can watch the oil dripping out. Not good. I'm not sure exactly where the leak is occuring. I'm planning to clean engine to locate the leak this weekend. Temperature is fine, not burning any oil. Car has 140,000 miles. 2.2L AWD auto. What would cause such a noticable leak? Rear main, head gasket, oil pump seal? Thanks for your help,
