Turns out the 92,93 + 94s will also fit the 90-91s. I am posting this as a public service of sorts in case anyone else needs to know these little details.

I tried searching the forum but couldnt find the answer to this seemingly easy question: What years will work on my 1990 Legacy for a replacement windshield? Any tips on the process of doing it myself would be appreciated too - I hope/plan to pull on from a local salvage sometime soon, but want to get the right one. (I know the front ends of the 1990-91 and the 92-94 are different, so I dont want to make a mistake if the windshields are different too) Many thanks - Bret

Hello and welcome from another newcomer to the board (been a member for awhile, but I think you have to have a certain number of posts to be recognized fully). I am curious to know if you had the work done to the wheel well rust spots, or was that done before you bought it? Is it noticeable? I am considering having some done, but haven't decided if it will be worth it. Thanks - Bret

Does anyone know which years might work for me if I need to replace the auto 4WD transmission? I have heard conflicting reports from a variety of sources: some say '90-'94 work and others say only '90 and '91, and '93 - '95? it is non-turbo and 2.2L Legacy L Also - if the '93-'95s might work do they have to be 2.2L? or can i swap one in from a 2.5L? thanks - Bret
