  1. I just called the used car dealer that I got the car from. His mechanic is going to check it for free. Lucky for me, I signed on (just) for the used car warranty program through the dealer... ($300 at his cost... so he says.) He said that my plan covers the first 1500 per incident up to the price of the car over 2 years... It luckily includes the electrical stuff inside the transmission ect, not just the power train... so I guess i lucked out.. in a sad way.
  2. i am gonna try the fwd fuse and see if the binding still happens.. if it stops, i am going to change all the fluids if it doesn't stop, it is going to the shop in the morning. thanks and have a great day
  3. AT TEMP OIL light is flashing 16 times at start up.. however, when i go to check the code from th B85(??) with the grounded wires provided in connector 5 as listed in other threads.. nothing happens.. when i stick it into connector 1 the airbag light flashes.. so i assume that the wires are grounded and working properly. I am getting a bit of torque binding in slow tight turns. I think i am going to change all of the trans. and diff fluids tomorrow.. (it is cold, so i am getting an apt. at the dealer or other shop...) is it a waste of time and $? should i just take it to the dealer and have them diagnose the problem first? 97 leg.ob 210k kms.. i have only had the car 3 weeks. hello.. nice to meet everyone.
