I guess my question is...if the car checks out and it is up to your standards - and belonged to you - what value would you place on it? I could have sold it for $2K six months ago...I wouldn't have slept well because my chances of replacing it someday are slim to nil. Not sure how you estimate value but I'd be interested in hearing from you about the cars reasonable value. All that aside...I have an 8 year old, own an outfitting business that includes sales of canoes and kayaks, bait and tackle shop, cafe and art gallery, and I'm on three boards including the school board.
