    Hello, I am new to the Forum's and realize this is an old thread, but I am having this Issue on an 04 Impreza Outback Sport with only 45,000 miles. The HG can't go bad that early can they? Same overall issue, I am going to replace the fluid (which is dirty), and maybe try the cap, idk? P.S. - Have any of you tried to register lately, The two words conformation is impossible, 5 tries, lol!
