  1. how about a nice set of michelin tires (harmont. ect) or yokohama avid touring. these are premium tires and will drastically improve ride "feel" dont do the shock swap, try tire replacement
  2. hopefully its a plugged fuel filter did they do fuel injection flush? what type? its possible they accidentally caused a burned valve.
  3. I am researching, do 2.2l early 90s - 95 have headgasket issues? what about the turbos, any big nightnare type issues? auto trans ok for turbo or stay w/ manual? also i see 96-00 legacys had 2.2l and 2.5l / see alot of issues with 2.5l headgaskets ............but 2.2? OK? i am looking for reliability mainly, dont want to deal with big issues. what about SVX, late model in perfrct shape. there are examples available but is the extra complexity worth it? do they seem to hold up? 200+HP and all wheel drive seems like the ticket. thanks in advance. kevin walsh
  4. I am new to this forum, as i have moved to wyoming I am in need of 4x4 car. looking at consumerreviews.com I see either very happy or very disappointed subaru legacy owners. seems the gen1 2.5l engines have headgasket issues? so question is what year to avoid. the 2.5l legacy GT AWD and would work for me, what do I need to be AWARE of? any problem years? thanks in advance, kevin walsh
