Thanks very much for the response. All the info I have suggests differential failure isn't common on these cars.
Questions: Why do I need to stick to a 90-91 transaxle? Is it a matter of ratio, or....?
Are there a lot of different ratios in these years?
Do I need a transaxle from a wagon or will a sedan one do?
Around here, (Delaware_ most yards don't seem to be keeping cars this "old."
