The car did not start fishtailing or anything it just seemed like the rear would get loose intermittantly

Hello I have a 96 Imprezza outback This morning we had our first snowfall of the year while driving to work it seemed when the AWD kicked in the rear of the car would get loose the car has all new tires and over the summer I put in the Duty C Selonoid any ideas would be appreciated thanks Marc

Removing/replacing rear diff... need advice
I replaced the whole housing on my 96 impreza I rented lift time from a friend and in his shop it took me 6 hours I also live in upstate NY with rust the lower bolts that hold the rear trailing arms to the knuckles were froze I had to take trailing arms from frame to get the axles out ... When I opened the diff the spider gears were shattered

Hi all I have come to the conclusion that my 96 impreza outback needs the duty c selonoid and mpt clutches ...Does anyone know if there are aftermarket parts available or only the dealer .. thanks Marc
