Have you jacked up the axle in question and checked for movement in the bearings? Grab the tire at the top and bottom and see if there is any play. You probably already knew that, just checkin', lol.

Well, I recently had a brand new Westin brush guard given to me for free. It was an Advance display unit, and I'm pretty sure it fits a late model Dakota. My buddy didn't need it, so I took it, thinking I would just give it to someone or something like that, but the more I looked at it the more thinking I did....so now I have another project, lol. My plan is to cut a couple inches out of the center and re-weld it, then fab up some brackets to fit the Brat. I'll have to do some tweaking/cutting on the headlight grilles/gaurds too, apparently a second gen Brat has wider headlights than a Dakota. Pics and progress coming soon.
