    any experience taking apart the column and replacing the switches or do you have to take the steering wheel off and replace the whole unit?

    Hi all, I have a 99 Legacy GT and my high beams stopped working recently... for a while they would work off and on and I would just have to flick the switch a few times to get them to come on but now they don't come on at all... I know it isn't bulbs or fuses..but I think it might be the headlight stock itself on the steering column. If I pull the stock towards the wheel and hold it the highs and the the indicator light on the cluster come on. Is this a common problem? Could it be a relay? Thanks!
