  1. So I finally got around to diagnosing my 87 GL 10 with an EA82T today. It's been parked since last fall when it started running on 3 cylinders, so I did the usual litany of tests: Spark all around Compression is good all around Timing belt didn't jump a tooth The problem SEEMS to be a bad injector on number 3. But over the course of my switching the injectors between cylinders on the rail I noticed the plastic nose cones (nozzles?) were cracked. Well, one is actually missing a chunk! The seals that seat over the plastic cones seem to be fine... Since this is an indirect injection motor do these need to be replaced? Seems like a vacuum leak would be the worst problem this could cause, is that assumption correct? Thanks- PHIL
