  1. Good luck on the VW. If you need any help with it after the warranty, stop by http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeromain?id=3. I currently drive an 01 Jetta 1.8T and a 97 Audi A6 Quattro (AWD)
  2. I dont know if these guys do Subaru axles or for that matter that year (old) cars BUT everyone on the volkswagen forums who drops theirs cars suspension way too low always break axles, they put a pretty penny down for the "Raxles" axles and they have Lifetime warranty. Dont know if it'll be much help maybe for these offroader guys too... http://www.raxles.com/
  3. ONE time when i used to own my 91 Loyale my car died just like that, no clicking, grinding, stuttering, thumping whatsoever. We latere went to trouble shoot and everything seemed fine, engine turned but would not even try to start (no spark) We removed the Dist. cap, looked at the dist. rotor and what hapopened was that the small tiny screw that held the rotor onto the dist. shaft came off, so everything would spin freely except the dist. rotor. Google stolen pic... http://benms.com/944camseals_files/image001.jpg (link due to BIG picture) THAT screw...
  4. Buy it back? (Mine was sent to the crushers; father choice) And yes I actually would love to own one of these again. Mine was exactly as yours (Silver exterior with brown interior) 5 sp with the 4wd button on the shifter! loved it to death. It ran for over 3 years with a bad alternator, it was only making 7.something volts.
  5. Okin, I want your Loyale! NOW. /of Envy. It looks great! P.s. I really do want it. Makes me miss mine even more now.
