  1. New guy here buying my first wrx need some advice!

    Hey guys hows it going, i got a few questions my buddy has a 2002 impreza wrx with 100,000 miles that he's selling to me for 3,000$ but its blown up is that a good deal the car is in mint condition. he was driving it and it started rapping so he shut it down he put it on a trailer and pulled it home, then he started it up and drove it of the trailer and then it quit and locked up. i dont no much about these 2.0L moters. but if you turn the moter over bye hand it seems like the piston isnt going all the way up because its hitting somthing. any input would be great guys i no nothing about these moter but 3000$ sounds like a good deal to me what about u guys?
