  1. Thanks for the replies. I figured there was no EGR since I looked very hard. Vacuum diagram did not show it either. Anyone know if the vacuum line that fell off the fuel pressure regulator could have caused this code?
  2. Can't believe this but I have a 2001 Legacy. Try as I may I cannot locate the EGR valve. I also checked the vacuum line schematic under the hood and see no EGR. Is there an EGR on this car? Also can anyone tell me if you have a CEL Code of P0420 Cat Code will the engine still run properly if it is not cleared? I found a Vacuum Line broken off at the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Will this cause a P0420 Code? Sorry for the moron questions but the last time I worked on cars I owned a 1977 280Z and it actually had a computer to control fuel injection. This was State Of The Art.
