  1. I have a 97 Outback Legacy with 280,000 miles. It has suddenly started overheating now that I'm using my AC. Meaning with the car just parked in the driveway running the AC it overheats in about 15 Min's. Thats with both electric fans running full on. How do I determine if it the water pump or the Radiator or could it be something else.
  2. Over the weekend I sprayed the universals with 10W-40, it seem to be all better now. Thank You for all your suggestions..
  3. It is an automatic. When you say change the tranny fluid which I have never done. Do youmean the main transmision fluid and not differential fluid. Also where is this solinoid located? Thanks
  4. I have a high mileage 97 Outback Legacy wagon that’s has a problem with the rear wheel not slipping when making a sharp turn. It reminds me of the front wheels on a 4X4 truck when in four wheel drive making a sharp turn on dry pavement. Is this a rear differential problem or am I overlooking something else?
  5. I have a 97 Outback Legacy wagon that’s having power steering problems. When I try to turn the wheel slightly it’s very resistive initially. Then as I turn the wheel more it seems to get easier to turn, but has the feel of going from easy to turn to hard in the course of a 90 degree turn. Over the last month I have changed out both the power steering pump, and rack and pinion to no avail. Any ideas?
