i updated my profile to International.

the problem with cars101 is that none of the pictures displayed match the look (or number of buttons) on my remote. i have a brown and black remote (trying to look like that wood panelling) with 3 buttons (arm - closed lock, disarm - open lock, and start - star). keep in mind that i'm in Canada, so maybe the Canadian subaru starter was different (I'm assuming you are not in Canada). what do you think? thanks

thanks Kwhistle...i'll give that a try later this morning. I tried a few of the procedures found on cars101 but it wasn't working. The dealer wants to charge me $50 for programming. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

Hey, i'm new to the forum. Both my remotes for my OEM keyless entry/car starter are busted and i bought a new one but am confused on how to program it. its for a 2002 outback sport (impreza) - 3 button remote (activate, deactivate, start engine). thanks.
