  1. I am new to Subaru's and have an 86 XT GL that I bought and supposedly the person that I bought it from had replaced the head gaskets. He failed to bolt the motor mount back down and hook the exhaust back up and there was no coolant in the radiator. When I got it home I bolted the motor mount back down and hooked the exhaust back up, changed the thermostat and gasket just for the sake of it, so I went to add coolant and it poured out the front of the engine once the block got full, it sounded like the coolant was coming out of the front of each head. So my question is this are there any coolant drain / freeze plugs in the front of the heads where it sounded like the coolant was coming from? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I just purchased my first Subaru an 86 XT GL with 86k original miles has a little bit of rust on it but not bad at all for $200. Needs a bit of work, so I thought I'd join the Subaru go to place.
