"Check Engine" light came on in my 2000 Outback wagon and it tuns out to be the P0100 trouble code - Mass Air flow. I don't want to get screwed by my local repair shop who immediately told me "oh that's just the beginning!" "P0100 is a pandora's box of trouble!" Is that true? The car is indeed very sluggish and has virtually no power when I want to pass quickly on the highway. Any suggestions?
