Weirdest thing ... My 1993 Subaru impreza blows hot air regardless of what heating or a/c setting it is on, except the controls will actually be OFF if you put it on max a/c. I'd really like to have some a/c in the car so i am trying to figure out what is going on. Has anyone ever had such a problem or have some ideas of how to fix?

Became a subaru owner in January. Its an old 1993 Impreza and it runs great! It was a great daily driver choice.. especially since it was free from a friend who was moving across country. Subaru is not my brand of choice other than daily driving. I drag race a mustang that I also love - very much - but it doesn't get around in the snow! I live in Southwest Virginia and am a recent college grad enjoying life. I'm joining for some help with my subaru
