Its going to be hard to figure out this one. i have a problem with my 97 .2.2 when its hot. I get ths stummble around 20 mph all the time!! I was told it was a ecm problem that when the car use engine inputs and burns it into the memory. Basically i was told the ecm is sending out the wrong info to the engine and gives bad performace values!!! So i guess i need a ecm. Might try to replace the coil first and see what happens....

I try the resonator if i cant find a baffle @ the motorcycle shop today!!! thanks guys!!!

i cant post pics so i can describe it as best as I can!! The muffler is 2.50 inches on the out let. I basically put a 9 inch long, 2.25 inch wide peice pipe inside the muffler...

Hello all. I have a 97 legacy 2.2 motor! I got a DC sports 2.50 muffler on it.Sounded like a good idea at the time. i was trying to get the boxter rumble out of it. Boy did I get more than i bargained for... rumble is like a roar, so loud , my rear view mirror comes out of place. I tried to quite it up by putting a 2.25 peice of pipe down the muffler. It sound a little better but its still a litttle loud. I know the obvious solution to this is to take it off and go back to stock....But I like it a little but I would like to tame it a little! Anyone know where I can get a baffle or something for this thing.. Even a homemade one or something. I heard that harleys have baffles you can by at the motorcycle shop!!Anyone know of this????Input please!!!

Hello people, just got my hands on a 97 Legacy L..All stock, nothing in it yet. Big plans and nothing but time!!
