I had a doj go bad on my 87. Had a helluva time trying to get the axle unmated from the wheel end. An errant smack, or two, with a BFH and I bent the piss out of the sheet metal bearing protector that presses onto the end of joint. Anyone got an idea what it's actually called and/or where to source one from? Your help is appreciated. My first post! Thanks to those that posted before... ...your help is very much appreciated. I finally got to the point that I cursed the appropriate amount to get the shaft off...
