Cargo cover repair -Loyale

So know one knows how to repair a cargo cover? I've started to tear it apart myself and when/if I fix it I'll post how I did it. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to help-Thanks -
Recently purchased a 92' Loyale wagon and love it. The cargo cover has released from spring(?) and is no longer able to wind up. I've tried to search archives but the only links I've found were dead. Help! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated-
